Artist of the Month June ’25 | Andert Tysma

We have the pleasure to announce Andert Tysma as our latest Artist of the Month. The Dutch composer spends his time between Amsterdam and Berlin and combines his knowledge of music with the art of science. Tysma is a part-time doctor which made him a very intriguing artist for our interview sessions.
With a background in jazz and modern production, he creates soundscapes that blend traditional instrumentation with contemporary textures and atmospheres. His work is characterized by a strong sense of melody and a focus on creating immersive and introspective listening experiences.
As a composer and producer, Tysma is constantly pushing the boundaries of his art, combining classical arrangements with modern technology to create unique soundscapes that are both grounded in the past and forward-thinking. His work has been released on the UK ambient label Apollo, and he has received widespread critical acclaim for his innovative approach to music-making.
