Recap: Ambitus for Artists Meet-Up

Did you know that Ambitus does more than just promote these awesome concerts? Last Monday, we hosted the first (Dutch) pilot of Ambitus for Artists — a small-scale meet-up for fellow musicians who enjoy connecting offline more often, exchanging ideas, listening to each other’s new music, or simply enjoying a drink together.

From far and wide, over 12 composers gathered last Monday in the studio of Amsterdam-based artist XA4. Through music, food, and drinks, they engaged in conversation, explored deeper artistic themes, and listened to each other’s new and existing work live.

The pilot can rightfully be called a success, and it shows there’s a real need for a (growing) community like this — where individual artists come together and connect in person.
